Our Story

Hi! We're Vivi and Uri Kesselman, proud olim from the United States.

After several years of living in Israel, we noticed that many English speakers struggled to access therapy services. Navigating the healthcare system can be overwhelming, especially when trying to find care in your native language. As an occupational therapist and mom, Vivi has seen firsthand how important it is for children and adults to receive the right support at the right time.

Some of the most common challenges we heard were:

  • Long wait times for occupational, physical, speech, and dietitian services through the kupot.

  • Difficulty finding qualified English-speaking providers.

  • Having to travel long distances for treatment.

  • Limited access to adult rehabilitation services, particularly cognitive and memory rehabilitation.

That's why we created OPS Therapy Israel.

Originally, OPS stood for Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Speech Therapy - the three professions our network began with. As the needs of our community grew, so did we, and today we're proud to also connect families with experienced English-speaking dietitians.

Our mission is simple: to make high-quality therapy services more accessible to English speakers throughout Israel. We believe everyone deserves timely, personalized care in their native language, whether in their home or close to home.

Today, we've built a network of experienced, licensed English-speaking occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and dietitians across Israel. Our providers offer services in a variety of settings - including clients' homes, private clinics, and via telehealth making it easier to access the support you need, wherever you are. Whether you're seeking services for a child, adult, or older adult, we're here to help you find the right therapist for your unique needs.

  • Vivi Kesselman

    CO-FOUNDER

    Vivi was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland and made aliyah to Israel in 2020. She earned her Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from Towson University in Maryland and has had the privilege of working with children, adults, and older adults in a variety of clinical settings throughout the U.S. and Israel. While she enjoys working across the lifespan, Vivi has a special interest in cognitive rehabilitation, helping adults strengthen memory, attention, executive functioning, and everyday independence. She is passionate about partnering with clients and their families to create meaningful, individualized goals and maximize participation in daily life.

  • Uri Kesselman

    CO-FOUNDER

    Uri made aliyah from West Hempstead, New York in 2012. After earning a degree in Business Administration and Finance from Reichman University (formerly IDC Herzliya), he served in the Israel Air Force in sales and logistics before working in a variety of client-facing roles. He recently earned a Master's degree in Social Work and is passionate about supporting individuals and families thrive lives in Israel.
