Hi, I’m Ayala Cohen, an occupational therapist with a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Haifa. I have over 7 years of experience working with children and families in child development settings, supporting children with developmental delays, autism, ADHD, sensory regulation challenges, motor difficulties, and everyday functional skills.
I specialize in working with children with ADHD and executive functioning difficulties, and provide both Cog-Fun and POET therapy. Alongside direct therapy with children, I provide parent guidance to help families better understand their child’s needs, strengthen daily routines, and build practical tools for home and school life.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and family-centered. I believe that meaningful progress happens when a child feels understood, supported, and empowered — and when parents feel confident and equipped to support their child beyond the therapy room. Building a strong and trusting relationship with both children and parents is at the heart of my work.
In therapy, I combine play, movement, emotional connection, and evidence-based strategies to help children strengthen their independence, participation, confidence, attention, and daily functioning. I strive to create a space where children can experience success, develop self-confidence, and reach their full potential.
I offer 45-minute therapy sessions in my clinic in Peduel, creating an individualized and supportive environment tailored to each child’s unique strengths and needs. Parent sessions are available both in-person and online via Zoom.
I feel privileged to walk alongside families through a process of growth, learning, and meaningful connection.
