Hannah Hurowitz (OT)
Hi, my name is Hannah Hurowitz. I’m originally from Atlanta, Georgia, and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Science from the University of Georgia, as well as a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. I recently moved to Givat Shmuel with my husband. I am available to work in Givat Shmuel/ Petkah Tikvah, Bnei Brak, Tel Aviv and Ramat Gan. I also am available to treat clients in my home clinic in Givat Shmuel.
Currently, I work as an occupational therapist in a gan safa, supporting children ages 3–6. I have experience working with children across a wide age range and with a variety of developmental needs, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, and other developmental and sensory processing challenges.
I specialize in supporting the development of fine and gross motor skills, handwriting, sensory regulation, emotional development, and self-care skills. I take a creative and individualized approach to therapy, tailoring sessions to be client-centered and aligned with each child’s unique interests and motivations.
My sessions are play-based, engaging, and fun, even when addressing areas that may be challenging—such as handwriting or regulation. I strongly believe in collaboration with families and maintain open communication with parents throughout the week via phone or email to ensure consistency and support beyond the therapy sessions.
